Dine like a local…student!
For an affordable yet delicious bite to eat, make your way to De Werf. The café is a local favourite among students, open all day and boasts a menu as versatile as the city itself. For a budget price you can enjoy breakfast, a feast on pastas, wraps and ample vegetarian and organic dishes! De Werf is found on Hogeschoolplein 5.
Price-less walks through Leuven
The inner city has a diameter of 2 kilometres, making it a perfect destination to discover by foot. What’s more, plenty of city walks are organized daily! Ask your hotel or tourist office for times and locations. Put your feet up after a stroll in one of the many parks in Leuven. The historic St. Donatus park is a great spot to unwind and only a few minutes walk from the M Museum. Remains of the ancient city wall can still be found here! The romantic Dijlepark is also found close by with an ornate bridge and gazebo to top off its ambience.
